課程概述

本課程旨在引介文化地理學的核心議題、理論概念、分析框架與研究趨勢。課程內容依主題分為六大單元:文化地理學導論、馬克思主義歷史觀、自然�文化、文化與認同、地景以及後殖民地理學。 

課程目標
課程將透過課堂討論、心得分享、口頭報告,引導同學以批判性的視角了解文化地理學歷史發展中重要的理論辯證,以及學門中核心的研究課題。 
課程要求
1. Each student will be required to give oral presentations. The oral presenter has a minimum of 15 minutes for each presentation.
2. A two-page description of an idea for a term paper including bibliography is due by 4/19.
3. A term paper (15,000-20,000 words) should be submitted by the end of the semester.
4. Students are required to submit weekly reflective responses before each session.
5. No more than one absence will be excused except under special circumstances. Chronic lateness should be avoided.
